Event Details:
Mindfulness is a state of consciousness where you observe what is arising in you or around you in the present moment without judgment or criticism. You simply notice. You notice what is happening, such as, your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, or even memories that may arise. As a neutral observer, you notice different parts of yourself that normally interplay outside of your ordinary consciousness. You begin to know yourself in a far deeper way than ever before.
Meditation comes from the word ‘mederi’ meaning to heal; so from the space of a detached observer, one starts to heal parts of the inner self that have been hurt or damaged. Research indicates that mindfulness and meditation have many far-reaching benefits, such as regulating your emotions, and letting go of tension and stress, bringing more creativity and increasing your effectiveness at life. In addition, they help you to discover your limiting core beliefs. Come and join us the afternoon of learning new techniques of mindfulness and meditation.
